Yesterday (18-November-2021 and on 17-November-2021) an earthquake swarm took place in Brennisteinsfjöll volcano. Two of the largest earthquakes where Mw3,3 magnitude in size.

There is a risk of stronger earthquake in this area. When it happens is impossible to know.

Reykjanes volcano activity

At the same time there was an earthquake activity north of Grindavík town that was felt there. Largest earthquake had a magnitude of Mw3,0 and was felt in the town. But number of earthquakes is currently to low for me to write a special article about it. I am just adding this as a note on this activity.
