This is one of several earthquake swarms in this area of Tjörnes Fracture Zone this year. More activity can be expected in next few months. This earthquake swarm activity appears to be only tectonic in nature.

  2. Question Jon has the 7.1 in California registered on any of your equipment?

    1. I agree with Jack, it would be very interesting to know if the most recent large California EQ registered on your equipment here, Jón? I know it off your patch as it were, and not volcanic in origin, just curious whether its ‘reach’ extended so far.
