It is impossible to know for sure what this activity means. But this might just be normal autumn activity in Katla volcano. I am expecting more earthquake activity in Katla volcano in next few days to weeks.

  1. Do you have or know of any longer term data on the this region? I’d be interested to see how the seismicity has changed of the months and years. Really like this site by the way!

  2. Hi Jack,

Thanks a lot – those are great summaries for the seismic activity.

    1. My web page is all clear when I use Google Chrome (and Firefox) to view them. There is in fact nothing to exploit on my web page. But there are user pages on simnet.is (this is an ISP hosting page for people web pages) that have been exploited in the past. Just not my web page.

I have contacted Síminn. Who is the owner of this web site and let them know about this issue.

As for your filter. I think it is a dubious one. Thanks for letting me know. But it is not my web page that is at fault here. It might be someone else that however is.
