Today (15-June-2016) at 12:51 UTC an earthquake with the magnitude of 3,3 took place at Reykjanes ridge.

Only one earthquake happened and no other activity has appeared on the Reykjanes ridge following this event. There is a good chance that no further activity is going to take place in this area for the moment.
Jon thanks for your fast work. Question….Have events of this type ever caused any Tsunami ‘s ? It looks to me like it was under the ocean floor so I just wondered or would it take something larger?
No. The risk of tsunami due to earthquake in this area is not possible. The risk of tsunami in this area and around Iceland is due to landslides, both from land and in the deep ocean. Such events are thankfully extremely rare.
Also what’s up with Kistufell seems like a bunch of shakes about 7 k down is that ice melt or tectonic ?
Seems to be an earthquake activity along the dyke. I’m not sure if it means anything at the moment.
