During the night of 27. December 2022 an earthquake with magnitude of Mw3,2 took place in Grímsfjall volcano. This was just a single earthquake and no aftershocks or any other earthquake activity has taken place after this earthquake activity.
This sometimes happens in volcanoes in Iceland. Just a single earthquake happens and nothing more.
