This is a short update on the earthquake swarm east of Grímsey island in the Nafir volcano (no Global Volcanism Program profile). Yesterday (19-March-2019) a magnitude 3,2 earthquake happened. Other earthquakes both before and after it are smaller in magnitude. In total over 200 earthquakes appear to have taken place in this earthquake swarm.
Earthquake activity yesterday (19-March-2019) in Nafir volcano. Copyright of this image belongs to Icelandic Met Office.
Earthquake activity has currently stopped. Based on the pattern in the earthquake swarm last year this might not be over and this might be going on for weeks until a peak is reached in earthquake swarm activity. It is impossible to know for sure what happens next in this earthquake activity in this area.

I have made the decision to move back to Denmark next year. This is a change and I did look into other options but I found them not to be workable (moving to Spain or Germany) at the present time. Living in Iceland is also something that is not going to work for me (costs are getting ridiculous). I plan on living in a slightly cheaper housing (condo I think is the word) than I did last time I was living in Denmark and in a bigger town than last time. I do expect some financial difficulties but less than what I am having in Iceland. It is also going to be slightly less than last time I lived in Denmark because I’ll be debt free when I move next year (I have a overdraft with my bank that I am currently paying down and I’ll be finished paying it few months before I move back to Denmark).
I have updated the donations SWIFT information back to Denmark.
PayPal has to wait since I had closed down the account that I had. I had just changed my decision just few days ago and I had closed it down by then. I was also unable to keep it secure because I don’t have a Danish mobile number now to use it properly. I also require a Danish mobile number to set up a new PayPal account in Denmark, there have been security changes with PayPal in recent months.
