{"id":783,"date":"2011-04-04T22:50:07","date_gmt":"2011-04-04T20:50:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/?p=783"},"modified":"2011-04-04T22:50:07","modified_gmt":"2011-04-04T20:50:07","slug":"overview-of-the-earthquake-activity-in-grimsfjall-volcano","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/?p=783","title":{"rendered":"Overview of the earthquake activity in Gr\u00edmsfjall volcano"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here is a short overview of the activity in Gr\u00edmsfjall volcano in <a href=\"http:\/\/hraun.vedur.is\/ja\/viku\/2011\/vika_08\/index.html#mark\">Week 08<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/hraun.vedur.is\/ja\/viku\/2011\/vika_13\/index.html#mark\">Week 13<\/a> for a comparison. A quick review of the earthquake data on the Icelandic Met Office web page suggests that the current path to a eruption started in <a href=\"http:\/\/hraun.vedur.is\/ja\/viku\/2011\/vika_07\/index.html#mark\">Week 07<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is clear on the pattern that has been evolving over the past four to five weeks where the eruption is most likely going to happen. It is clear that the magma has found a collection spot inside Gr\u00edmsfjall volcano. But the question remains where it is going to break it self when a eruption starts.
