There has been a lot of smaller earthquake activity in \u00d6r\u00e6faj\u00f6kull volcano in recent days and the earthquake activity has been continuous for most of that time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/180324_1715.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/180324_1715.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"596\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/180324_1715.png 540w, https:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/180324_1715-272x300.png 272w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe earthquake activity in \u00d6r\u00e6faj\u00f6kull volcano. <em>Copyright of this image belongs to Icelandic Met Office.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I am unclear at the moment if there is any change happening at this moment. There has been slight increase in earthquakes that have magnitude larger than 1,5 in recent days. Overall there has been no major increase in earthquake activity so far in \u00d6r\u00e6faj\u00f6kull volcano. But it has been mostly continuous for last several weeks and that might be a sign of trouble in near future.<\/p>\n<p>The magnitude 3,0 earthquake was felt in \u00d6r\u00e6fasveit and other nearby areas.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll update this article later if anything major happens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Donations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please remember to support my work.
