It&#8217;s a small volcano south-west of <a href=\"https:\/\/volcano.si.edu\/volcano.cfm?vn=373010\" target=\"_blank\">Gr\u00edmsfjall<\/a> volcano and on Global Volcanism Program website it is counted with Gr\u00edmsfjall volcano eruptions. Last eruption in \u00de\u00f3r\u00f0arhyrna took place in 1902 at the same time there was an eruption in Gr\u00edmsfjall volcano (size VEI=4). Before that eruption, the earlier eruption in \u00de\u00f3r\u00f0arhyrna took place in the year (August 15th) 1887 and lasted for two years (ended in 1889).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/170305_2230.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/170305_2230.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"596\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6719\" srcset=\"https:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/170305_2230.png 540w, https:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/170305_2230-272x300.png 272w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nPossible dyke intrusion in \u00de\u00f3r\u00f0arhyrna volcano (south-west of Gr\u00edmsfjall volcano). <em>Copyright of this image belongs to Icelandic Met Office.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Largest earthquake in this swarm had the magnitude of 2,5 and the second largest earthquake in this swarm had the magnitude of 2,4. Other earthquakes where smaller. It is not possible to know how this is going to evolve since there is a lack of data on \u00de\u00f3r\u00f0arhyrna volcano due the fact no eruption has happened since the year 1902.
