Iceland earthquake activity both in volcanoes and on the fracture zones is taking a break.<\/p>\n<p>So while Iceland is taking a break I am going to write about volcanoes that are never in the news. Not in Iceland and not in the international press. They are not in the news because they are quiet and have been for some time now.<\/p>\n<p>I am going to start tomorrow (hopefully) with a volcano called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.volcano.si.edu\/world\/volcano.cfm?vnum=1700-01=\">Sn\u00e6fellsj\u00f6kull<\/a> (wiki <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sn%C3%A6fellsj%C3%B6kull\">here<\/a>) (if you did think <a href=\"http:\/\/www.volcano.si.edu\/world\/volcano.cfm?vnum=1702-02=\">Eyjafjallaj\u00f6kull volcano<\/a> was hard to say, just try this one).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While everyone is watching the eruption in Hawaii.
