The source of this earthquake is not clear, but this appears to be a magma injection into B\u00e1r\u00f0arbunga volcano. Largest automatic magnitude was 2,6, but strongest reviewed earthquake activity so far had the magnitude of 2,5. More earthquake activity is most likely going to continue in this area. Earthquakes with this or stronger magnitude cannot be ruled out from happening.
