{"id":10373,"date":"2022-10-07T16:39:15","date_gmt":"2022-10-07T16:39:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/?p=10373"},"modified":"2022-10-07T17:41:42","modified_gmt":"2022-10-07T17:41:42","slug":"earthquake-activity-has-started-to-increase-in-fagradalsfjall-and-reykjanes-volcanoes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icelandgeology.net\/?p=10373","title":{"rendered":"Earthquake activity has started to increase in Fagradalsfjall and Reykjanes volcanoes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since yesterday (06-October-2022) the earthquake activity has been increasing in the volcanoes <a href=\"https:\/\/volcano.si.edu\/volcano.cfm?vn=371032&amp;vtab=Weekly\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fagradalsfjall<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/volcano.si.edu\/volcano.cfm?vn=371020\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reykjanes<\/a> volcanoes. Please note that Global Volcanism Program has updated the informations regarding Fagradalsfjall mountain and now classifies it as its own volcano, this is after a new report and information from Icelandic Met Office. From now on I am going to use that classification when updating on activity in Fagradalsfjall volcano.
